The Buxton Common Project

In April 2018, Buxton can expect a new smokehouse, grill and tavern called The Buxton Common. Lucky for us – we are helping to renovate this 18th century farmhouse and repurpose it into a restaurant at 1420 Long Plains Road (most recently The Mustard House Antiques Shop). The new owner and seasoned chef and restauranteur, Max Brody, plans to serve smoked lamb, pork, chicken, sausages, duck and vegetables at reasonable prices in a casual atmosphere. This old farmhouse will feature design details like hand-hewn beams, soaring rafters and an open kitchen. Brody’s progress is documented on his facebook page and includes recent discoveries on the old property and videos showing construction progress. https://www.facebook.com/BuxtonCommon/
